Caldwell Golf Club has excellent golfing and catering facilities and will be pleased to accommodate your needs in a friendly and welcoming way. Whatever your ability level, Caldwell will offer you the opportunity to enjoy golf in a rural setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Our stunning parkland course was established in 1903, being originally laid out by former Open Champion Willie Fernie, and then improved in the 1920s by five times Open winner, James Braid. It is located near Uplawmoor just 5 miles from Glasgow on the border between East Ayrshire and East Renfrewshire. It is close to the historic town of Paisley and is easily accessible from the M77 corridor and from Glasgow International Airport. It is also readily accessible from the local communities of Barrhead, Neilston, Dunlop, Newton Mearns, Stewarton, Lugton and Beith. We have an outstanding Director of Golf in Mark Loftus and believe that we have the best practice facilities in the region, but don’t take our word for it come along and see for yourself! Tower Restaurant
Our Tower Restaurant has a picturesque outlook over our first tee and fairway and is a great place to relax and eat after a round of golf, both for Members and Visiting Parties. With many menu choices and options available, the restaurant caters for all tastes and appetites and offers a memorable dining experience. Party sizes up to 100 people can be accommodated and bookings are welcomed for those special, personal celebratory social occasions with family and friends.
